Book Summary:

 June 24, 2014

The thrilling conclusion to In the After, the survival story of Amy and Baby, set in a near future where Earth has been overrun by vicious, predatory creatures. Perfect for fans of New York Times bestsellers like The 5th Wave and Across the Universe.

It’s been three months since Amy escaped New Hope, and she’s been surviving on her own. Then one day Amy gets a call from Kay and hears the four words she had hoped she would never hear: Dr. Reynolds has Baby. Now it’s a race against time, for Baby is in imminent danger, her life threatened by the malevolent doctor who had helped start the end of the world. Amy must make her way to Fort Black, a prison turned survivor colony, where she will need to find Ken, Kay’s brother, who holds the key to Baby’s survival.

One small slipup on this quest might not only cost Baby and Amy their lives but could also threaten the survival of the people in the After

My Thoughts:

If you haven’t read the first book, In the After, then you need to get on it! I read it back in December and pre-ordered this book as soon as the pre-order went up.  The first book was creepy, but it held my attention to the point where I could not put it down. Seriously–I even took it to my family Christmas because I was that into the story. If you like creepy survival stories, then this is for you. It isn’t a survival story where you even wonder how the heck the girl survives–she’s actually smart and knows what she is doing. Great great book…do yourself a favor and read In the After so that you can pick this one up when it releases on the 24th.
